City Council isn't just ribbon cuttings and community events. It's budgets. Zoning decisions. Land use policy. Staff contracts. Negotiating with developers.
I've spent the last several years doing a lot of that work on the Planning Commission, on the Development Code Update Steering Committee, and before that as Transportation Chair for a neighborhood council in LA representing over 40,000 residents.
I worked extensively on our new development code, providing input that will shape the future of Cathedral City. I know what it says, what it makes possible, and how to use it.
I'm not running because I want a title. I'm running because I know how city hall works, and I think we can make it work better for you.
Roads. Flooding. Code enforcement that actually follows up. Speeding and reckless driving. Homeless solutions.
We have empty storefronts that should be restaurants, shops, and places people want to go. I’ll make it a priority to recruit those businesses, not just wait and hope they show up.
Affordable housing. Childcare access. A city character that reflects the people who actually live here.
Have questions or suggestions? I would love to hear from you!
